Green Flag 2018, here are the Sicilian beaches suitable for children
Once again this year, the Green Flags were awarded to the best beaches for children and parents. Clear and shallow water near the shore, soft sand to build castles and play, lifeguards and lifeboats, spaces for mothers and babies, nearby places to eat or to relax parents. These are the strengths that lead to the choice of locations, promoted by pediatricians. Throughout the boot are 136, with two new entries from Calabria and, for the first year, there is also a beach outside the Italian borders, which is located in Malaga.
According to the experts, what makes a seaside resort perfect for children are: sand (better than stones and rocks), a bit of space between the umbrellas to play, water that does not become immediately high so that you can dive in safety, beach attendants, cleaning and a bar.
